Terms of Services

  1. Scope of Work
    OSHIRO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CORP dba OPS PAINTING agrees to perform the painting and related services as specified in the proposal. Any additional work requested beyond the agreed scope of work shall require a written change order and may result in additional charges. This Proposal has been prepared for the Client only. Upon the approval of the proposal, If the proposal is approved, it will be accepted as an Agreement between the parties and terms and conditions set out below will be binding.
  2. Materials and Colors Selection
    OSHIRO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CORP dba OPS PAINTING team will use the specified materials and colors approved by the client and paint colors shall be confirmed at least 2 days before the start of the project. Any changes to colors or materials after approval may result in additional costs. The client is responsible for ensuring color accuracy before application.
  3. Work Schedule and Completion
    OSHIRO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CORP dba OPS PAINTING will commence work on the agreed start date with the client and will complete the project within [x] hours from the start date, barring any unforeseen delays due to weather, material shortages, or circumstances beyond OPS PAINTING control. Any delay caused by the client (e.g., lack of access, requested changes) may result in an adjusted completion timeline. OPS PAINTING shall not be liable for delays due to such factors.
  4. Payment Terms
    A deposit of 50% is required prior to the commencement of work. This upfront payment serves to cover the costs of materials and initial labor. The remaining balance is due when the project is completed. Acceptable methods of payment include cash, checks, electronic payments & credit card with a fee of 3.5% of the amount.
  5. Change Orders
    Any modifications to the original agreement must be made in writing and may result in additional charges. OSHIRO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CORP dba OPS PAINTING will not proceed with any changes without prior written approval from the client.
  6. Site Preparation and Client Responsibilities
    The client is responsible for clearing the work area as much as possible, including removing small items, décor, and fragile items. OSHIRO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CORP dba OPS PAINTING will take reasonable precautions to protect the property and any items on the jobsite.                                                           
  7. Warranty and Liability
    OSHIRO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CORP dba OPS PAINTING provides a two-year limited warranty  covering the quality of the paint and the workmanship. Common defects covered include cracking, peeling, bubbling, and fading, excluding damage due to normal wear and tear, moisture issues, structural defects, or previous coating failures.  OSHIRO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CORP dba OPS PAINTING is not liable for incidental or consequential damages.
  8. Cancellations and Refunds
    Cancellations must be made in 48 hours before the scheduled start date. If the client cancels after signing this agreement but before work begins, only 90% of the deposit will be refunded. If cancellation occurs after work has commenced, the deposit is non-refundable.
  9. Access and Utilities
    The client agrees to provide access to the property during agreed working hours. Water and electricity must be available for use by OSHIRO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CORP dba OPS PAINTING during the project.
  10. Dispute Resolution
    Any disputes arising under this agreement shall first be resolved through good faith negotiations. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to mediation before any legal action is taken.
  11. Acceptance of Terms
    By signing this agreement, the client acknowledges and agrees to the terms and conditions stated herein. By accepting the terms of this estimate, OSHIRO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CORP dba OPS PAINTING will perform the services described in this document above. Any additional work not covered in this estimate will incur additional charges.
